Adnams Old Ale 4.1% ABV
This is a mild ale style beer brewed with East Anglian pale ale and Crystal malted barley and Boadicea hops, dark red brown in colour with an aroma of caramel and nutty chocolate. The toffee and chocolate also come through on the palette along with hints of red fruits, all balanced by a smooth bitterness. A traditional speciality winter warmer. An old recipe dating back to 1890. Flavour of fruit, malt and roast grain, with a hint of caramel. Adnams Old Ale is a rare treat.

Amber & Bitter
Southwold Bitter is a beautiful copper-coloured beer, late and dry-hopped with Fuggles for a distinctive, lingering hoppiness. Brewed with the finest East Anglian Pale Ale malt barley, sourced locally to the brewery. We use Fuggles hops which we add late in the boil to preserve the herbal flavours of this traditional English hop. This brilliant and bold addition to our flock was created to commemorate the 30th anniversary of one of our finest comedic exports - the Monty Python crew!
Years later and Holy Grail is still going strong. With more hops than a killer rabbit, it's a full-flavoured golden ale with a distinctively fruity flavour followed by the Black Sheep signature dry finish. Be warned, this beer has been tempered over burning witches! Only joking.

Wells & Young's have launched a brand new seasonal ale with a fruit twist which coincides perfectly with the recent the warm weather.
The ale, launched under the Young's name and aptly called Hummingbird is the newest addition to the brewery's seasonal ale programme and is available throughout the remainder of July and August 2013. Hummingbird is a 4.2% ABV golden ale with a hint of passion fruit and what's interesting about this beer is that the fruit twist is created by the hops.
